Last weekend I was requested by our parish priest Fr. Greg Chervenak to capture the 5 Catholic Churches of Cumberland in its Christmas splendor. Without knowing where they are, I did not hesitate to do this photographic mission. Along the way traveling north, south, east and west of Our Lady of the Mountains Roman Catholic Parish, I had varying challenges ranging from slippery roads, losing my cellphone and early mass schedules at far flung areas. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the journey, having to know more about my new found town, seeing some scenic routes, and understanding the efforts our priests do to celebrate mass in different areas to make sure that the word of God is evangelized. So thankful for Fr. Stephen Fernandez for being very helpful and giving me a tour, finding my lost phone and giving me a fresh start to a new year!
