The YMCA sports Photo Shoot!

Inspired by Photographer Von Wong’s article about transforming regular people to super athletes “No photoshop images”, I headed to my gym to collaborate this idea. YMCA Group Dance Coordinator, Amy Weisenmiller of Cumberland, Maryland, jumped in with the idea. Armed with 3 Flash guns, light modifiers and a spray bottle to have a simplified fog rain effect, the group warmed up with their basic stretching exercises. Also, since I envisioned having the images in black and white, I took the opportunity of playing with light gels to give a more cinematic look. If it the gel looked too much, a classic black and white image will be produced.This is how it turned out. Hope you like it.
